Photography has always been an integral part of who I am, how I express myself, move through life, and create my own window to the world. It’s my way of noticing, understanding and remembering.
Exploring America over the last few years changed my life forever. Since the first time I experienced the Californian desert, I felt something shift. I had never felt so inspired, spiritually and creatively centred - so at home. For the first time, I felt the feeling of being somewhere new and completely familiar at the same time. I experienced the beauty of passing through, and wanted to explore and share it all.
The quiet, soul-stirring moments. Endless stretches of road. Days spent alone and with the people I love. Places that feel lived in but forgotten. Dust, earth and light. It all brought me closer to myself like nothing else. I carry these experiences with me always. This work — and this space — is a reflection of them.
